well I got it all built after work! it's doing the 1hr seasoning right now. My wife made chicken in the "stove" tonight for dinner... but I wouldn't eat it... I don't care if it's going to be 10pm at night i'm eating on the traeger tonight haha.

Posting pics can be a challenge! Photobucket is your friend. Search for the sticky note on how to post pics and have a good time! Should make it fairly easy.

Tenny,

I fixed your pics as best as I could.

Be sure to stick around and keep posting pics of your cooks. Above all else...

Enjoy your new grill! :)

I am yet another Canadian using a lil' Tex. It may not be top of the line but it is still a great way to cook. I have had mine almost 2 years and I love it. We need to get BP to open up a Canadian branch so we can get his awesome stuff with a bit less shipping sting. One piece of advice with the Traeger is order your pellets from BP, don't use Traeger brand. The difference is huge.

thanks for the tip on the pellets. The local dealer gave me 5 free bags of Traeger pellets and a free cover with my purchase so I've got enough for a bit. By the time I use the first 3 bags I will order some more from BP. What brand do you recommend?

BBQer's Delight, my brother!

I think they give you a better flavor, and because they're oak based (not alder based like most pellet brands), they have a lower ash content and pack more BUT's making them more efficient, so you will use less per cook.

I guarantee once you use premium pellets you won't want to go back.

In fact I'm running low on a flavor or two and need to re-order!

I made some maple honey chicken thighs tonight, sooooooooooooooo good.
