Shrimp ready to fry… oh hell no. Always put you breaded seafood into the fridge uncovered for at least an hour to set the breading.

The sweet taters look nice and well done, just the way I like.

OK, you have my curiosity peeked. So, did you actually fry the shrimp in that pot on the MAK? Did you move it to the bottom shelf? How well did it work? More details please!

Actualy heated oil inside to about 375 then moved outside to cook. Keeps wife happy no mess and smell.

So the MAK kept the oil hot enough to fry the shrimp?

Well it is a very good tri-ply pot and was on the mak for about 45 min while the veg cooked. Keep in mind that most seafood takes about 3 or 4 minutes to cook at 375. Dont think i would try a couple of pounds of fries!

Whooda Thunk???? Fried Shrimp on a MAK. Now I'm really stoked!!!! I'm gonna try fried Speckled Trout "Specks" and Red Fish with homemade hush puppies.

Just walked in from work and could still smell the smoke from last nights cook... This "pellet smoke" is addicting. I have a Pavlovian experience now every time I smell "pellet smoke" . Oh well, there are much worse conditions.
Keepin on Smokin...
