hanging w/ the BPS team in cameron park

first off. i had a great time. the food the BP feed us was fantastic. he cooked and prepared all the food himself. the man is extremely talented. i really, really enjoyed talking to sterling, jody and brad. soon as i got there and sat down brad and jody handed me a cold FT that they had on ice. fantastic hospitality. did not expect a cold FT. the cameron park lake was fantastic place.

this was there set up.

across the path was this.

first off sterling made some snacky poos. he did fantastic stuff w/ this tuna. i believe a little hot squeeze and desert gold.

onto a blazing hot hasty bake ranger.

the boys were ready for a snack.

the photo were i was licking the plate was from the tuna. the tuna just melted in your mouth. cooked perfectly. it was good.

next up was the main course.

BP cut up some portabella mushrooms and added some annies (i think) and some dessert gold w/ little louies. foiled them up and onto the grill.

next up was some veges. BP cut up some jalapenos, red bell peppers & onions. put them on some foil w/ butter and desert gold.

the man multitasking.

now the fun begins. can you say baaa baaa. ya, little rack of lamb. ohhhh.

am not sure but he made a paste w/ some type of mustard after seasoning.

onto a 1 star at 270º. i would have never thought of that temp. it was the right decision.

this was my plate. lamb chops, veges, mushrooms & salad. man of man. the food was full of flavor. bold flavors. it was one of the best meals i have ever eaten. i mean real, real good.

BP also made a plate for mrs spark before i left. she got 3 little lambys. i do have to admit. driving home i pulled over on the freeway and had a bite of the lamb and a mushrooms. those mushrooms were good. one more time. real real good. i liked them alot. i ate brad portion of mushrooms. he was late getting the table. sorry brad.

it was a real relaxing evening hanging w/ the team.

it was a great evening eating fantastic food and enjoying good company. i want to thank BP, jody and brad for showing me fantastic hospitality. ty.

Spark the mushrooms werent foiled they had nearly a bottle of annies (more expensive that the mushrooms themselves!) and some llwp,
and a splash of double secret...then there was a mixture of balsamic glaze and a horseradish mushroom then grilled super hot on the Hasty Bake (I think Ol Spark likes the Hasty Bake)

The onion pepper mix just had little louies with pepper

Sparky I knew you would raid Mrs Sparkys dinner.........Did she get any food? Probably thinks that Im weird sending her a plate of partially eaten food!!!!! hahahahahah Waa Laa Baby!

The highlight of the night was brad and jody telling spark that the first letter in waa laa was a v....It was like telling a kid there is no Santa. So on the forum it shall always be Waa Laa I like it better than that French word....

I'm with BBQ Joe, looks great and wish I was there . BP always makes good eats. When we were in Vegas a town where getting some good food is not hard at all. We didn't think twice we were eating at the Big Poppa tent if it meant holding up cardboard signs that said will work for food. Sparky will back me up on this when I say if you wish a chance to enjoy a Friday dinner at the BP tent. I'm sorry for you.
