Heirloom tomatoes

My next door neighbor brought me some home grown tomatos tonight. The old tasty kind. Did'nt have any bacon but had to have one for dinner. Then I remembered a sammie I had awhile ago. Here we go.

Tomato,Mushroom and Provolone Grilled Cheese.

Cook the shrooms

Look at that mater!

Add the tomatos,shrooms and cheese

Cook it up and serve

Really great looking sandwich!! Have you gotten any green tomatoes? Another staple in the South! I have had them in sandwiches and just one a plate with a nice remoulade. My problem, I can't eat too many tomatoes. Too much acid for me.
