My name is Kevin and I'm a pellet smoker in Minnesota. Any minnesotans out there with advice on where to buy pellets? I dragged a hundred pounds or so back from KC last summer but those are gone. Is ordering in bulk pretty much the best way to go?
Looking forward to learning a lot on this forum.

I'm in MN too! I have turned into a BBQ'rs Delight junkie, but many butcher shops sell pellets too. I used to get mine from Von Hansens until I found BBQ'rs Delight online.

If you BBQ a lot, then buying in bulk from BPS is even better!

I have pallets of BBQ Delight Pellets that I store at a friends place near Indio Calif. This way it doesn't take up room around my house. When I need more or a certain flavor I call him up and have one put on the UPS truck for me.

Welcome addlime/Kevin! I'm in Minnesota too. There are some local producers in MN and WI but they tend to be a little more expensive, plus they charge shipping. I just get 'em from Big Poppa. They come highly recommended by folks with much more experience than me
