Help - Don't want to ruin it

I asked Santa for a cast iron roasting pan for Christmas. He must have been in France before my house, what he left was a very heavy cast iron roasting pan made in France ( Chasseur brand ? ) but my dilema is that it has what they call a double enamel finish inside and out. I was thinking it would be just a raw black metal finish.
It says that it can be used with any heat source, but is it safe to use on a grill ?

Please advise.

yes just might be a tad hard to clean actually the enameled finish is a cooking benefit on the inside the moisture rolls off it and back on the food! thanks for posting Greg!

I have developed a set of "grill pans/dishes" - no need to mark them or put them in a special place, it is obvious which ones go on the grill just by a quick glance :). Your pan will become covered in smoke and it will get harder and harder to clean it off, so just roll with it..

Enameled cast iron? Heck yeah, that was a really nice gift!

That's some primo cookware that'll work very well on the grill.
