Hi everyone, last night I just picked up a practically new (2-month old) Yoder YS1500. I've cooked on pretty much everything except a pellet smoker, and have always lusted after a Yoder. I haven't had a chance to cook on it yet, but I'll have it running all weekend. I'm looking forward to learning the ways of pellet cooking, and maybe running this as my competition smoker next season.

Welcome to the forum Eric and congrats on the new Yoder. Pellet cookers have a fairly short learning curve and with your competition experience you should be putting out some great Q in no time at all. Good luck and good cooking.

Welcome to PS.com Eric! All we use in competition is pellet smokers. A MAK 2 Star, MAK 4 Star and an FEC100
