today HoDeDo mentioned on my pulled pork or pulled beef question that some people--after they tin foil wrap their pulled meat--they may add some horseradish sauce to it. this sounds great. anyone do this with horseradish sauce and if so which horseradish sauce recipie (or purchased sauce) do you use and how much do you add to your meat before sealing in aluminum foil? thanks!

Sounds interesting for both pulled pork and pulled beef. I have coated a prime rib with fresh grated horseradish and smoked it. Tha was good eats!

I make homemade mustard now & then.

Give this a try: Mix some dry mustard powder with COLD water into a loose paste and let it sit in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. You won't believe how hot it gets and how much like horseradish it tastes. They're in the same plant family and have the same enzyme (sinigrin) that produces that hot pungent flavor.

We do a horseradish roast where we marinade in Beaver brand hot cream style horseradish. Nothing else. It's one of my daughters favorite meals.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the spicy mustard is great on beef. never tried it on pork, but I bet it'd be good on that too.
