Ok lets pretend you are king or queen a grill company...what kind of pellet grill would you make....or what features would you add that you feel are missing?
If I were king of a grill company, I would make a MAK 2 Star General. Oh wait...
Seriously, though, I don't have enough time under my belt yet -- ask again in 6 months?!
Actually, I did just think of one thing. I would like a very bright light built in. I've got lights on my deck, but they don't point into the interior of my MAK. Holding a little flashlight in my mouth when trying to see back in there, especially when it's dark outside, is annoying.
Insulated cooker chamber
Hold full size pans
Programable controller/ Wireless
Ability to log cooks
A dump for the hopper so I change the pellets
Firmware that can be updated via USB port
Access to the fire pot with out have to take apart the main grill
Temp ports
the problem is the smoke build up Hasty Bake makes two models with windows the Continental and the Gourmet and its really cool for about a month and then the glass is ruined by the smoke. We always try to convince buyers of these to just order the option of no window.
Hmm.. some great improvements by Norwood! Especially access to the fire pot without pulling the all the stuff above it which would make things easier on getting my MAK 2 Star ready. Speaking of which, it would be nice to be able to access the internal control board via a thumbscrew door assembly vs how its is now. This would make access easy for a usb update, changing out a dead heat coil or adding a wifi board.
