Inside of smoker lid wet?

Ok just a quick question for you guys.I took the cover off my Yoder YS-640 this morning around 6 and started her up.When it got to 225 I opened the lid to put my prime rib on and noticed the top of the inside of the lid was wet.So i got some paper towels and dried it off.I smelled the towels and they did not have an "off" smell to them.Could this just be morning dew or condensation? My cover does have a slight slight hole in it and maybe the dew slowly crept in that way and is burning off now that the bbq is on.

Help!

Product of combustion are water vapor and carbon dioxide, sometimes carbon monoxide. Water vapor hits a cold surface and condenses. Your lid was cold, condensed the water vapor.

Ah ok thanks. Is it anything I should be worried about?I checked it again about 10 minutes ago and it was dry.

Nothing to worry about. It's just condensation from the cold lid. I see it all the time with all of my smokers, most especially in cold weather.
