I had 2 lg groups to cook for this weekend. A family from church whose daughter was in the hospital...and my turn to host bunco. So let's experiment with the MAK.
first off, lots of chicken, with Slap Yo Daddy Rub & Obie Cue's Double Garlic & black pepper
Onto the MAK, with tube smoker
First nights meal will be pulled chicken sliders...coleslaw ingredients while chicken is cooking
all mixed & marinating
Chicken is done, let's shred. Half goes into crock pot for sliders, half into Ziploc for tomorrow nights Bunco.
Into the crock pot w a mixture of Head Country Original & Hickory
pretzel rolls from Costco make great slider buns!
Sadly no plated pic of the BBQ chicken sliders w coleslaw, but I heard they were fantastic.
On to Saturday night, boiled some butternut squash ravioli & strained. Mixture of Alfredo sauces
layered squash ravioli, then smoked & shredded chicken
Smother in 3 kinds of cheese (Monterrey Jack, Mozzarella, Parmesan)
Back in to cook for 45 minutes, on to prepping veggies
sauteed almond slivers in avocado chili oil, then added green beans & zucchini w/Money & Lemon EVOO
Plated with Rosemary Olive Oil bread!
Topped off with a glass of Sangria!
Everyone loved it & was stuffed! Thanks for looking.
