Can anyone please tell if you ever had a flame out on a mak2 or mak1, and what cause's that. thanks

Curious where your question originates from. Do you own a MAK?

The MAK should never flame out under normal operation, below is a list of abnormal possibilities.
Auger is jammed by bad pellets or foreign objects in the hopper
The hopper runs out of pellets
There is way too much ash buildup in the fire pot blocking off the air holes.

Are you having issues with the yoder flaming out? If so start with the scenarios I mentioned above.
Typically pellet grills will have a maximum auger off time or some sort of adjustment to keep the fire lit, Yoder should be able to help you with that.

PS. The 2 Star is mostly made of 16ga 304 Stainless Steel, some parts are thicker depending on their job requirements
