yes it is....easier clean out flame zone and the ability to specify 400 or 304 stainless

Are there any dimensions for size? I think I'll get this if it will fit my plan for summer kitchen. Was originally going to put a Alfresco 42" propane grill, which is pretty big. Really need to get the install plans for this to my contractor so he can see if it'll all fit. Do you know if they are available (the docs and dimensions) yet?

Sorry about the picture mix up ( my first time posting pics)
The Elite is 50% larger than the Pro. It has a little more temp. range 180 - 700 deg.
The ash and grease is separated so there are three drawers, two for grease oand one for ash. As BP mentioned there is a easy access hatch for cleaning the burn pot. This hatch can be replaced with an optional insert that will allow for open flame cooking.
The Elite is available only in 304 stainless, both cart and built in.

The Pro can be ordered in either 430 or 304 stainless for 2012.

The Elite is 50% larger than the Pro and is avialable at a Cart or Built in just like the Pro. It's max temp is 700F and has some additional coonvenience features like a removable hatch in the center of the flavorizer which allows convenient access to the burn pot! This hatch can be replaced with an optional direct flame insert. The control has 3 direct flame settings for a low, med or high flame. Both the cart and built in are made of 304 SS....

This weekend I'm stuck on my old Frankenstein smoker. A SAMs club electric (masterbuilt) modified with a Bradley smoke generator! let's hope it gets the job done until the Memphis gets in...
