New to the forum and new to pellet grills. Looked at MAK, Memphis, Green Mountain Grills and Traeger today. Wife loves the traditional style of the Memphis grills, I like the MAK 2 Star... Now to decide what to get :)

Ended up with the MAK 2 Star. Can't wait to get it set up and smoking. Any recommendations on something easy for a first time cooker? Anything I need to do prior to my first use?

I bought just about every flavor of pellet available and would like to do some chicken breasts, burgers and steaks thinking that would be an easy first time... Recommendations?

Most people say to do a load of bacon on your grill for the first cook after going through the manufacturers recommendations.

Have had my 2 star two years and still haven't done a load of bacon. I would recommend ribs (lots of ideas on this site to make them come out good the first time), spatchcock chicken, or pork butt. All are easy if you search this site for ideas on temps and time.
