I know I can't be the only one to run into this 
If you want to add 10 pics to a thread then do NOT add any smiley's AT ALL. I've had this happen a couple of times and thought I'd pass this along...
When posting/editing a thread I couldn't get 10 pics to post. I kept getting a message that 11 or more pictures had been added. I counted and recounted and there were only 9 and it wouldn't let me add a 10th.
I had added some smileys earlier and even though I deleted them, for some reason they embedded themselves in the code so that they were still being counted.
I finally deleted the thread and recreated it without the smileys and it then let me add the 10 pics just fine.
