Glad to check in and see some new views and discussions on pellet cooking. I've been using My GMG Daniel Boone for about 8 months and cooking BBQ for 25 years.

I use Ernie Ball Slinkys most of the time, and which one (Super, Hybrid, etc.) depends on which guitar. Thicker strings for slide and blues, thinner for rock and other types of music. At times I'll use Fender bullets on the Tele's, but not often, and Elixers on the Ovation acoustic. That being said, what might the one right answer be? (I have a feeling I'm being set up! lol)
