Pork shoulder and Spare ribs

Did my first shoulder and spare ribs. Took a few pitures and will post them later. Shoulders took just over 12 hrs and ribs took 5. Guessing they should have gone longer. Sure it was me but babybacks are much better. The spare seemed a lot fattier and probably needed more time. Didn't get to eat the shoulder, came off to late. Going to try for lunch. But it also seemed very fatty. Guessing not long enough. Pretty much did 225 for the entire time. Bumped it up to 250 last hour tying to speed things up. Got hungry. Need to wok on my rendering technique.

I'd say make notes read what other do on here with the ribs they cook. I know many have done the shoulder cook. Type in the advance search at top of page shoulder it will bring up a list of threads with tons of info. Good luck.
