sunday afternoon. working in the backyard and getting hungry. whatever should i do?

i know. rib time. i friend from illinois send me some meatsmack meatluv. i also got some JH sugar maple rub / hot (ya, one of my favorites). needed some glue. broke out a favorite of mine. pomegranate balsamic glaze. good stuff.

took them in and cut them up. me and the mrs sat at the kitchen sink and ate the whole rack. yummy.

ya. some sparky's signature ribs, cajun ribs, sweet ribs and sauced ribs (but i want to get sauce from the area, local sauce). i think that will work. :cool:

I don't know how to cut and paste a picture you posted, but the "coming out of the VooDoo love"... Money! My wife slapped the back of my head because I was trying to lick the screen. Outstanding. You are the rib master.

Which rubs/pomegranate balsamic glaze flavor profile do you like best? Do most go well with the pom balsamic glaze?

i liked them both but.....i do love my JH sugar maple rub. i liked the meatsmack alot because its low salt. good for this old heart. i am going to try it on a chop and butt this next week.

Damn dude..I'm coming down to Cali just to try those. plus I will get you drunk on FT and get that voddoo schmear recipie out of you.. skip the FT I will bring Canadian beer.. you wont stand a chance,,lol

You have some great photography skills Sparky to bring out the color and texture like you did!

thats really nice of you to say. i wonder about the pics because i'm not wearing my reading glasses and can't tell if the pics are clear. when i edit them i do wear them though. i do have a hard time w/ or w/out the flash. the colors are real. 100%. cool huh. ribs are like works of art. so much you can do to them. me, i'm just winging it. having fun though. ;) i just looked at the rib pics. i need to learn how to cut a rack of ribs up pretty. i never really worried about it before. my cut up rib picks look ugly. i should care. once again, nope.

Dude it's time to start winning some cash!..the color,pull back,shine and I know the flavor kicks a$$ already..you've got some top tier ribs going on in every post..I know you aren't a comp guy but buddy you'd be walking with those..honestly!..great job

thank you very much. that means alot to me. comp, nah. do they let ya drink FT while cooking? then i have to get a trailer and haul a bunch of stuff around. sounds like to much work. maybe i could get a sponsor? nah. still to much work. i just like hanging in the backyard having a FT and smoking stuff. fun, no pressure. i do respect you guys and gals on the comp wagon. i know its alot of work and expense. hats off to ya'll. me, i'm just having fun. :cool:
