I'm about to be a pellet smoker/griller. I have 3 friends that have recently bought pellet grills and that's all they want to talk about. I retired from the cattle business and thought that I cooked about the best steaks you would taste. I've gotten to where it is too much work and time to start my charcoal/mesquite fires and want an easier grill to cook on.
My problem is that I guess I have too much time and have spent hours on the internet researching grills and have just gotten confused on which one to buy.
I've decided to get the MAK 2 star because it sounds like the best for grilling steaks.
I appreciate ya'll support in advance.

Welcome from North Dakota! Make sure you order the grill grates with your MAK. Once you use them you wont cook a steak without them!! And once you see how easy it it getting great steaks you will be grilling MUCH more!!

Are you alking about the searing grate that comes with the MAK or the others that they are talking about??

I don't own a MAK so I can't say that it comes with it - but I know it is an add on option you can get. I believe the searing grate is the same as a grill grate. If I am wrong I am hoping another MAK person can bud in....please.

Order the MAK Pack from BP. It has most of what you will need to get started. I would recomend also getting the two 1/2 upper racks. BPS is also a great place to get all of your pellets, rubs, and sauces. You will not be disapointed. Congrats and have fun!
