I think there is a divide between north and south..animosity not so much..the mindset up there is just different and I've been in the middle of more than one discussion about it..yes it is sad and doesn't need to be the way it is..but when you nominate all of your friends onto the board and all of them live up north it creates a good ole boys club if you will..hopefully this will change this year..we will see.

I got to admit, since lurking around this forum for nearly a year(?). Seeing all these great meals and rubs and stuff, I don't know where to even begin once I start cooking. My grill will hopefully be here soon. I'm going to go broke paying for all these fancy rubs, glazes, sauces, pellets, and not to mention all the MEAT!

I have a supply of some assorted rubs but not very much. I'm going to have to put together a list of the essentials, but that bacon, maple jalapeño rub sounds like it should probably be on that short list.

So what do you all think really ARE the essential rubs and sauces/glazes you use the most? Double secret and money seem to be very popular.

TD If you're talking BPS seasonings..
Money- BBQ
Double secret - beef
LLWBP - everything
LLWBP jalapeño - everything
Dessert gold- chicken, veggies, sea food

This is just what I like them on..your mileage may vary.
