I enjoy snoked bacon but have never made it. I wanted to make some for breakfast however it takes about three hours to make. Can you make it ahead of time an reheat it.
Good morning urnmor, absolutely! That's almost always what we do on our MAK-- smoke up about 2 lbs of thick cut bacon, refrigerate what we don't use, and just reheat it when we want some for breakfasts.
It doesn't seem to lose any of the smoke flavor from reheating, and it'll keep for quite awhile in the fridge. I usually smoke it until it's just slightly less done that we like it-- that way when we reheat it, it doesn't get overcooked.
