The McRib sandwich is bigtime in Germany

Was just watching a Travel Channel program about McDonald's around the globe and how they've had to make adjustments to their global menus to allow for cultural influences.
One thing that caught my ear was the McRib sandwich is so popular in Germany that they serve it year round!
Sounds like a good business opportunity awaits in Germany. If the McRib is popular, what would they think of a good ol' wood smoked pulled pork sammy??

Germany is growin fast on American BBQ....I lost out to a German for number one Memphis dealer in the world...(he is a distributor so I am technically the biggest...)

I read an article here on the coming and going of the mcrib and the autor was convinced it was on the menus when pork prices were down and off the menus when pork prices were up,, who knows if I eat Mcd's once every other month its alot..
