Money/Balsamic Glaze Tri Tip and Shrimp

My son's friends have been coming to the house on Friday's after school so I have been trying to cook for them if I am home. Last week was ribs and wings. Thought I would try tri tip and shrimp this week.

Started with a couple of choice tri tips from Costco:



Rubbed with Balsamic Glaze and Money Rub from BPS:



On the MAK at 275F:



Meanwhile, coated the shrimp with a little EVOO and Desert Gold:



Tri Tip done and resting:



Shrimp's turn on the MAK:

Tri Tip sliced and ready to go:



Wasn't much left for me, but at least I did get to taste it:

I tend to let others go first too and after ending up with scraps a time or two, Brother, I can relate. I've had to learn to invoke "Pitmaster Privilege" once in a while! ;)
 
Still using the tri tip method you taught me BP and it comes out great every time. Balsamic glaze and Money are the best combination I have found for tri tip by far!
