How about another easy but delicious side dish? We have a customer at the computer shop that brings us fresh veggies just about every week. This past week he brought some garden fresh zucchini.
Sounds like it's time to fire up the pellet grill!
The zucchini was washed & cut into wedges, then wrapped with a 1/2 strip of bacon. Sprinkle on a Little seasoning and they're ready for the grill.
Onto the Stoven at about 250°-275° until the bacon is getting crispy (approx. 45 min.). Tonight it was a mix of Oak & Black Walnut.
Brush on a light coating of equal parts melted butter & Italian dressing to finish. The acid & butter balance each other nicely.
They turned out nice & tender with the crispy bacon.
Thanks!
