Beef Brisket injection

Doing a 5 lb brisket flat tomorrow. I am using a recipie for the injection from DR. BBQ's Big-time barbecue cookbook".
BIG COW BEEF INJECTION
2 cups beef broth
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
My question is how long before it put it on the grill should I inject? Is there any benefits to me doing it the night before?

That's the recipe I use except I add a touch of balsamic vinegar and garlic infused olive oil. I've injected both the night before and right before. Not sure I've been able to detect a difference. Logic would say the farther ahead you inject the deeper the injection will penetrate. IMO.
