Getting my Cajun-self on today...

As always, a hat tip to the Seemore's for the original version of this.

The mix. I retired my year old jar of jalas, so I used the drippings we save from the bottom of Wickles Pickles jars. Same effect, different pepper. ;)

Stir stir stir.

Go hand-to-hand with 3 pounds of Pistachios, and onto the top rack of the 205° MAK.

Something for the cook to snack on.

We'll check them around 2:30PM, and move to the house oven to finish drying.

BBL.

Parked in the house oven for a couple hours now to finish drying.

Meanwhile, I tossed some J'ville turkey sausages on underneath the nuts.

After an hour or so...

Ate one right out of the foil. PDG. I'll probably cut them up and do some smoked chicken and turkey sausage jambalaya tomorrow night...
