Grille Temp!

I attached a pic of the grille in the garage....just went out and temp was up to 310 grille set on 180!!

Its crazy!! in 15-20min increments up to over 300 then back down to 170 with grille set on 180, almost a burnt nasty smell with it gets down around 170....not liking this!!

Do BBQ Delight burn hotter than a Traeger pellet?

I would double check the temps using a remote thermometer... maybe it is something crazy with the digital display? Just a thought.

I agree with Tatonka. Also you might check to see if the thermocouple is clean.

With a Traeger normally you will see 30 to 50 degree temp swings. 130 is off the charts.

I left an email on Traeger website and was amazed someone (Frank) responded within 30mins. Changed the P settings and it calmed down running 5 +- degrees.
