We're under a heat advisory here.. And we're having our 4th of July bash a couple days early.. Let's get it on!
Bacon and Sausage for the beans...
A pair of 'bitty boulders..
Bacon/sausage is done. Happy Spatula is Happy! (I ate the crispy bits)
Hickory Shagbark Dumpster Butts, with a bit of Butter Pam to enhance the bark..
Apple Pie Baked Beans.
Buffalo/Starnes Chicken Dip
We'll check back in the morning on the butts. Everything else is stuffed into the fridge.
Ribs/chicken/burgers/brats are on deck for tomorrow..

7AM... Butts are done.

15 pounds of chicken pieces/parts, going for a morning soak.
The marinade was equal parts spray butter and garlic infused EVOO (as in a bottle of each), then a 1/3rd part lemon juice, a handful of sea salt and garlic powder, and then a healthy shake (or 12) of Hasty Bake Greek seasoning. Stir it all up at room temperature and dump it in.
I've also got 4 packages of brats (2 butcher shop homemade and 2 from Schnuck's) soaking in a couple cans of beer.
Time to start prepping the ribs..
