Dessert Picture
So far this is the only picture I have, my phone was dead. I will try to find more, there were many people taking pictures at turn-in.
So this is a Pumpkin Cheesecake Trifle served with Whiskey Spiced Cider. I didn't fill the shot glasses till we got to turn-in, it was a long walk.
I basically deconstructed the cheesecake. I separated the center and the crust and made both smooth then piped them into the bowls, layered with pralines, topped with more center cheesecake and then drizzled a praline sauce on the nuts.
I had enough to make 1 more so we got to try it. It was SO GOOD!!! The cheesecake is a friend's recipe and I did not get to do a test run before the contest. I was very happy with the way it turned out.
We received all 9s from all 6 judges, a perfect perfect score, with a 2nd Place trophy. The Long Dawgs BBQ team won the tie and got 1st.
