Smoking nuts setup help needed

I need some of your wisdom... I have been trying to smoke spicy peanuts (came out really good actually) but now I want to do larger quantities sine the people at work are now asking for them. For a smaller batch I was able to use a frogmat on top of an oven rack to get a nice even layer. I would like to be able to stack a few shelves of nuts to do at one time in the MAK, but do not have any more frogmats.

Ideally I would like something that I can use for nuts and for doing jerky. to minimize the amount of extra stuff I have. I was thinking that the racks from a dehydrator might work if I keep the temp low enough...

Any ideas on what to construct or buy? Pictures welcome :)
Thanks

Cabelas used to carry a stacked rack kinda device, but I can't find it there anymore.

But basically you want the racks as close together as you can get without the nuts touching, probably 1/2 to 1 inch spacing.

I have done Chex Mix on a sheet pan. The only thing you have to do is periodically stir the contents to make sure everybody gets happy.

Is there a recipe for making chexmix? I have never actually made it

are you kidding. its on the back of the box. i have been to some parties (ya know, before i had kids. actually i have been to some monster parties after i had kids too (wife drove)) and all of a sudden you get the munchies. oh, my gosh. i have seen 5 gallons of chexmix disappear in minutes. you have to make some partner. good stuff. ;)

I know that it is on the back of the box.. i was trying to see if there were some good other concoctions from the people here...There are a lot of crazy things here that people make and this seems like an easy one to make your own...

Take the basic recipe from the web site (or back of the box) and try your own "thing". I have taken butter and hot sauce and mixed it with the Chex Mix. I have used different nuts in it. I have tried different flavor pellets to smoke it. ALL are good! Let your imagination run wild.

Patrick, I used a large frog mat and tied up the corners to form a basket. We piled in four pounds of pistachios and put them on the cold smoker for 3 hours, shook them up a few times, turned out great.

I did some more last night for a coworker. 52oz can of peanuts.... I ended up taking cheese cloth and attaching it to the full upper rack. spread the peanuts over the rack while it was warming up. (rack was in the house) then slid the whole thing into the MAK when ready. Smoked them for 1.5 hours at 225. They came out good!
I think there will be a lot more of these since people are asking how much to make them.
