I am a long time member of SmokingMeatForums.com - Smoker and smoking meat forums and reviews. I am a former meatcutter, meat manager, district meat, deli/bakery supervisor with a former regional chain in the northeast, now disbanded and stores sold off to franchises, with over 40 years in the meat and retail business; I am the trusted authority on SMF for meats and am at your service.

A member on SMF invented a cold/hot pellet smoker called the A-Maze-n Pellet Smoker (A-MAZE-N Products, LLC). He discovered that there was corn cob pellets available; he sent me some to test as my dad smoked hams, bacons, you-name-it with corn cobs in his country store in Adams Center, NY for 40 years. I just tested it out in my smokehouse and was tickled pink to go back in time and re-live the smell of those corn cobs smouldering away!
Naked Dixee Chicks at Corn Cob City!

But, they are hard to find. I wondered if you all knew of good sources for them?

Thank you for your time and for reading this!

Yes, Welcome Pops. I just joined yesterday (oct 13) also. I can't help with any corn cobs, but my wife's Grandpa used to own Miller Packing in Oakland Ca. and he used to smoke meats with Redwood Sawdust, fantastic smoke flavor. Hope to share a lot more with everyone here, Ken M.
