Thanks for the compliments! It is -13º here and suppose to be -21º tonight... suppose to get a heat wave in on Friday and bring our temps over 0º by Saturday. So planning on seasoning and doing a little smoking then; I don't need to be testing the thermal jacket in these temps!

Looks like you got all the right toys for it. Using the direct setup with the defector out, produces great food on the grill grates. And the diffuser will let you play with in pit temps, and build a hot zone if you want, even if you leave the deflector in, and want to have a hot spot and indirect zone. Very cool!
