Yoder YS 640

I'm wondering if anyone has a Yoder with fluctuating temperatures? Im in the market to purchase one and I'm hearing negative feedback on this topic.

My wife and I just got a Yoder YS640 the beginning of this month so we have probably only used it a few times just short of a dozen. But from what we have found it is running very accurate; within a few degree's of we have set it at even with 15º outside temps and 15 to 20 mph winds. We do have a thermal jacket for it and park the Yoder with its back to the wind so the thermal jacket provides the most protection possible. It would have been best to move the Yoder out of the wind, but that option wasn't very easily available to us. In my opinion for my wife and I the Yoder was a solid, strong choice.

Thank You for the feedback. I've got the older Treager Deluxe, I really like it but it doesn't get hot enough to grill in the winter.

I use my Treager all year without any issues, and we get some cold winters here.

Initially had all kinds of issues. Once all updates were put in seemed way better. Low and slow seems right on, set point vs pit, anything over 400 varies and if set above 500 might not get there.
