This is only the 2nd time doing smoking wings and I am always nervous when making food for a party or others. We decided on smoked hot wings to bring for Super Bowl potluck. We were in a crowd of people that don't smoke food.

Did 2 different flavors of wings on the Yoder this morning so that we could bring them to a Super Bowl party this afternoon. Seasoned one batch with Plowboys and basted with Lizard Lick sauce. Second batch was cinnamon chipotle rub and basted in raspberry chipotle sauce.

Here they are on the grill getting smoke for an hour or so before I added sauce to them!

Here they are after getting sauced and about ready to pull off the grill.

Wings were a huge success tonight a ton of compliments!! Everyone raved about it being the best wings they have had.... we now have a standing order that when we go camping we need to do these wings there too.

We may have started a wing madness!!! :D

Ya might as well send some to Illinois while you're at it!
I would hammer those babies! I like your choice of flavors too!

Love the way that sauce glazed and tacked up nicely... very pretty! Did you add any honey to the LL sauce for that sheen, or is it straight out of the bottle?

Thanks everyone - they were a huge hit! So much so now I have been asked when we go camping that I make these. :)

No honey - the sauce that has the nice glaze is the Raspberry Chipolte sauce. The LL sauce is a really thin vinegar base sauce. And now that you ask about the honey that may be something I try with that sauce. Never thought to do that before.

Nice job, wings always come out awesome on the pellet grill, unfortunately when it comes time for a party and you ask "what can I bring" you already know the answer!
