What are suggestions for thermometers? I have been looking at the two channel Thermocouple by Thermoworks with alarm.

How do those compare to the Thermoworks? The thermoworks Pro BBQ kit comes with a 3 probes the main unit and a wireless reciever for $220

Carter, The reason I like the thermoworks is one unit will do all 3. It has the cooking probe, grill temp probe and quick temp probe. Yes it is pricey but I have learned you get what you pay for. What smoker do you cook with Carter?

Get yourself a Maverick ET732 and a Thermoworks Thermapen and you will have it covered for about $160!

good advice. thats what i did. the two of those will do everything you need very well. take the extra money and spend it on meat. :)

mine was a piece of junk but it was one of the first one...the real key is three things...range, duribility and accuracy...most of them are accurate so it comes down to durability...Honestly they all fall short there...

I bought several k couple thermoworks and just dont think they work well...I tried to like them..so I go disposable...732 with thermapen
