going to use fan only from the Mak with a variable speed controller. Going to smoke small limbs, oak, apple, cherry, hickory, etc. Warm smoke in main chamber and cold smoke in chamber off to the right......... ZEP

Zep,
Does the front SS panel on your MAK cover the old powder coated panel or replace it? This may be something I need to do to mine since the powder coating has come off in large areas.

Yes, the front panel got hot one time and burned off the paint. I think mine is before powder coat #57. I drilled all the front rivets out, put a stainless panel in place and put all stainless rivets back in with a heavy duty hand held rivet gun. I think an air one would have been easier. ........... ZEP

really nice metal work. now, whats that for? i like the swirlies on it.

It's for warm and cold smoking without burning pellets or running the Mak. You could also use it on short cooks running the Mak to get more smoke in less time.
