Same to you Rick, and to all the rest of the great cast of characters that make up this wonderful gathering place, I wish the same Merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, Kwanzza, or whatever it is you celebrate this time of year, and a happy and prosperous New Year!
My thoughts will also be with the parents of the Sandy Hook children as they cope with their loss and realize just how blessed Mrs scooter and I are.

It is all in how you look at life - focus on the bad things and life sucks, focus on the good things and life is great! Every life has plenty of both - it is just what you chose to focus on. Personally, I have found that staying away from the media greatly increases my outlook on life. How did Don Henley put it... "people love it when you lose, we love dirty laundry.." - that is until we figure out what that constant borage of "what is wrong with this world" is doing to us mentally and emotionally. It doesn't make the world any better, but it makes my world MUCH better!!
Didn't mean to hijack the thread, but with the New Year.. maybe a good time for a New Year resolution that will dramatically improve someone's life and be easy to keep???
