One of the most underutilized ingredients in my house! I should change that!

Okay, I'm going to show my ignorance.

What do you do with duck fat?

I'm thinking of using it as body lotion! ;). Just kidding. Duck fat has a unique flavor that can be used in many ways. Some of the more traditional ways are roasted potatoes , oil for French fries and the best...duck confit. It may be used with any veggie you want some serious flavor. Such as brussel sprouts. Once you taste it the possibilities are endless. Give it a try.

Confit for sure... He's a gourmand after all. I haven't figured out if he is a professional chef or professional photographer yet....

I need to get a bucket of that!

Ive been looking for six months to find a decent price on fat and legs. Usually the shipping is twice the price of the fat. I got 10 legs and a gallon of fat for 70 bucks. Shipping was only 20. Peckin Paradise is the place. Shipped on time and well packed. frozen rock hard on delivery. Highly recomended! Keep in mind if you treat that fat well and refrigerate it will last 6 months. Use it over and over again.
