Hello members, i just picked up a jr at a yard sale this weekend for $15. Figured i couldnt go wrong even if repairs are needed. Looks like it only been used a couple times. I plugged it in and nothing happens. Nothing turns on and i dont hear anything working. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

If it were me the first thing I I would do is check the fuse. Then call traeger and trouble shoot

Wow... $15 you couldn't go wrong. I'd just buy an Ortech controller and get that puppy up and running.

That's what I was thinking. Where is the best place to order the Ortech? I bought a new fuse and still not working. Could it be the control box?

That would be my guess which is why I'd take a chance on an Ortech controller. Search and you'll fine them.

A blown fuse on a Traeger motherboard almost always means that the igniter rod has failed. Traeger ships a spare fuse with replacement igniter rods. The replacement kit was a bit over $30 if I remember correctly.
