Hello to all,

I'm not new to smoking, but I'm new to pellet smoking/grilling. I've purchased a new Traeger Junior with the upgraded Traeger BAC236 digital control. I know that this is not a "mac daddy" device, but it was affordable to me and my family to tryout the new world of pellet smoking/grilling. If anyone resides in the Central Florida area, could you please point me to a good source for pellets?

Welcome to PS.com Steve. I'm PADI Open Water certified but haven't been diving for years. Used to free dive a lot for abalone in northern CA coast and SCUBA for lobster in Southern CA channel islands. Really miss it.

Welcome to the forum Steve. Many many of us started on a Traeger and I for one would not trade the good or the bad times I had cooking on one. Fire the bad boy up and let's cook.

I'm a PADI certified rescue diver as well. I have not been active for about 7 years now. I got spoiled doing multiple trips a year to Bimini in the Bahamas. You guys will have to help point me in the right direction for homebrewing.

Hey, even though there are a bunch of us MAK fan boys around here, ultimately we're just glad you decided to join us! I have a friend with a Traeger Jr. and with the Ortech Digital Controller he upgraded to, that is one smoking little machine! :)


For pellet supply: I'm limited in what pellets I can get locally. I get the BBQer's Delight from Big Poppa Smokers, because with the free shipping, it's actually cheaper for me than driving to the nearest Traeger dealer (which is fine because I don't like the Traeger pellets anyway).
