Received and got #876 put together. Unfortunately it is pouring down rain, so I had to get it together inside the house. This is where it will sit until tomorrow and I can finally get the initial burn completed. Thanks to BPS and MAK.
Sky finally cleared. Out on the deck, plugged in and running the initial burn. I really enjoyed seeing the smoke pour out of this tank. May not have come out in the picture very clear.
One thing. This is a question of ignorance since I have never personally seen a pellet cooker in action, but, it seemed to take a long time for the first pellets to begin dropping into the ignitor area. Like 5-10 minutes. And even longer to fill enough to catch. I got impatient and put a handful in so the amount came up to the bottom of the ignitor rod. However, once it got going, it didn't take long to heat up. Last check she is running at 495! Very happy to see that!
