I agreed to host a birthday party over the 4th of July weekend if everyone brought side dishes. lol
This is the pit I use for whole hogs too.
I did smoke 4 butts on the Memphis Pro earlier and a brisket on the drum.
filled the drip pans with beer, dry rub and leeks..
brushed my ribs with bacon drippings, then seasoned with dry rub. Added a pot of pintos.
the ribs, beans, pulled pork, brisket and sauce.
The pulled pork for sandwiches,
brisket and ribs...
The block pit is easy to use and maintained a temp of 225F through the whole cook.
I added coal about every 30 to 45 minutes.
There is a more detailed post on my blog..
It was a nice day, but after cooking I grabbed a cold beer and sat under the shade tree to relax!
Thanks for looking!
