A Little Rib Action

I don't get to smoke too often. Busy with the kids activities. Thought I would share some ribs before baseball gets into full swing.

Dusted with some Head Country
Smoked for 2 hours with Pecan @ 250
Foiled for 2 hours @ 250
Back on for about 25 min. with a light coating of my own sauce

Finished Product

Here's the finished product. Nothing special compared to some of the other cooks on here. Turned out well and they didn't last long.

Its a little sweet heat with some tang to it. I like it with a little more heat but most of family and friends like it not as hot. So, I usually make it a little more mellow for everyone else.

I'm sitting here waiting on supper and looking at those ribs is making me even hungrier! Really nice color and glaze on the racks.

They were more bite thru but very close to falling off. Racks almost fell apart when I took them off. Hard to see the meat pulled back from the bones since I took the pic from above. They were very tender. I did one rack without sauce for me. Sorry, I ate it and forgot to take a pic of it. LOL.

Thank for the compliments Tent & Darwin. I really enjoy this forum and all of the great cooks that share their food.
