The food only gets better once it's seasoned good and dirty on the inside !! 30 days from now it should be good and seasoned up :D
Congrats again you're going to love that MAK!

of course you can have one of those sammies.

Impressions -- WOW, i love it, that's all I have right now ........... I had seen one in action a few times, Nepas actually let me help cook moink balls on his this summer, so I knew what it looked like & what to expect but still wow.... now I need to get to know it. My husband is very impressed with it (he was sick of watching me take the traeger apart).

Since it didn't hit the deck until almost 6:30 I needed to do a quick cook. After about 45 minutes on high I set it to 275 and threw the veggies in. Then when they were pretty soft I threw the sausage in. I was going to turn it up and gets some pretty brown on the sausage and veggies but the vultures were circling and it was almost 9 before we ate.

I only have a few hours of plans for the weekends so it will be a cooking weekend. One of our Christmas gifts to my MIL who doesn't like to cook is freezer meals so I will work on that this weekend. Kevin's cooking tonight and I know he's doing pig candy so we may have to do a little pig candy cookoff

& a huge thanks to BP & Jessie for helping make it happen, they are awesome to work with.

he, he we will see just how loud the alarm is, it's gone off a few times this morning and our bedroom is right above the deck.... I did not see the ball drop but I imagine my husband did.......

I have been playing with the pellet boss and have already cooked a couple pork tenderloins and some roasted carrots...

I've been wanting to play with the programming myself. So far the MAK has been so easy to use I haven't needed it, but I can see using it in the upcoming weeks when the community concert band rehearsals start back up.
