Hour 1:
First time guest to the show, and writer of the "Smoke Signals" blog that is found in the Washington Post, Jim Shahin joins me to talk the scope of BBQ. We will be covering many items tonight including the overall growth the industry has seen over the past 5 years, what the DC bbq scene is like and Pitmasters Season 3.
Pitmaster of the Smoke on Wheels Team, Andy Groneman, joins me to talk about his RGC at the Sam's Club event in Westworh Village, TX this past weekend. Smoke on Wheels will move on the the regional round as well as the 5 other top finishers that competed in this event.
Hour 2:
Opening the 2nd hour is BBQ legend, Corporate Chef for the Big Green Egg Company and multiple time author Ray Lampe...better known as Dr. BBQ. Ray and I will be talking about his 3rd overall finish at the Tampa, FL Sam's event a few weeks back, his new cookbook, Pitmasters Season 3 and a little England barbecue as well.
I close the show tonight with Pitmaster of Barknuckles BBQ, Big Jim Stancil. Jim is going to tell us about the Georgia BBQ Championship.
