We have used most brands of Cooking Pellets over the time we have had our MAK grills. Some @ 200º produce so little smoke I have had to check if the unit was still on. Others had sticks in the bag or from batch to batch could be so hard you could hear the MAK crunching the pellets. BBQ Delight pellets are the brand I have the best results with bag to bag. If we are using Oak,Apple or Cherry. I can always count on the results. As much money and time as is invested in a good cook, I am not going to use a lower quality product being it meat or pellets.
