Other uses of the Pellet Grill,
Start the MAK on smoke and put the asparagus on for one hour.
Then cut the tips off and save for later. In a fry pan or on the MAK griddle (at 375º), cook up a half a onion and two stalks of celery (cut up in pieces) Cut asparagus stalks into bite size pieces and add to celery onion mix. Season with Big Poppas Desert gold.
When tender put into the blender with the proper amount of chicken stock and blend until smooth. I used a little more then half a cup. Start with less and add to the proper thickness. Put mixture in a pot with the asparagus tips you saved earlier and some cubed cooked chicken breast. Serve with a little grated cheese of your choice and some Balsamic Glaze of your choice (important).
