My table seemed to get most newbie entries. One of the worst brisket plates I've had. Either overcooked or well under and either bland or super juiced up with product. Nothing balanced. Very odd how the scoring ended up. You aren't alone. Apparently we didn't appreciate Matt's product all that much either! Bright spot was seeing Dave back on top again. Some of the results have me very puzzled. I was the only NorCal judge in the tent so you can't blame NorCal judges and keep a clear conscience. Or maybe you can... lol

No Scooter really I just have to cook better...seriously. Also sometimes it just doesnt click...
I also understand that anytime you think you do well you dont...with exceptions...like the Royal! hahahha

The rule of thumb to the people out there who dont compete is to rank your cooks before judging and it will come out opposite!

It motivates me to do better...Boulder City come on!
