Batmobile grilling

It's no secret that I like to grill, and do it far more than I smoke. It's about time, and a small group to cook for. MAK Daddy knows my passion for grilling, we've had a conversation or two on the subject.

Enter the Batmobile (afterburner was taken). I remove the drip pan, slide my diffuser aside, and place my GrillGrates directly above the flame. The grill comes up to temp super fast, and I get crazy sear and caramelization!

I've done ribeye, salmon patties, chicken breasts, and swordfish steaks this way so far this week. Yum!

No evidence of fat dripping down at all. Most of the juices collect in the GrillGrate and vaporize back onto the meat. If anything does drip down it must also vaporize instantly due to the force of the flame coming up. I don't grill fatty meats - mostly lean stuff. Skinless, boneless chicken breasts, and moderately lean steaks (diet, dammit).
