One of the best things about birthdays is I get to cook my own birthday dinner! Today after work I stopped by the store and wandered around thinking what would make this birthday boy happy. Ran into some lamb that looked like it would hit the spot.
Here we go
start with a little rack of lamb
Hit it with Dijon mustard and Desert Gold
Onto the MAK running on oak @275
Looking good
Pulled at 150 and rested
Crank the MAK up to high and grill up some asparagus and finish off the taters that have been on the whole time
Sliced up
Dinner is served, Happy Birthday to me!
Top it all off with a slice of birthday carrot cake
All in all this meal made for a very happy birthday boy!
